Our People
Elizabeth A. Garlovsky, Esq. I have spent most of my career as a Trust and Estates Attorney. As an attorney in a very personal area of the law, I strive to provide my clients with an advocate and empower them to take control of their planning. Whether a client is fabulously wealthy or not, everyone needs an estate plan. I always tell my clients that if they own anything, whether it is personal, real or intangible property, that they wish to control the distribution of at their death, they must put it in writing. I have a strong background in drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other documents needed to prepare a solid estate plan. In addition to helping clients with their lifetime planning, I also frequently represent executors and trustees throughout all stages of estate and trust administration. I appear regularly in probate court and counsel family members when issues arise over the disposition of a loved one’s estate. My experience also expands beyond trusts and estates and allows me to provide a holistic approach to the representation of my clients. In addition to significant law firm experience, I have also held a position at a global financial institution where I provided customized advice based solutions for banking, investment and fiduciary clients working through various stages of their financial lives, including their estate planning. In addition, I have also represented children as guardian ad litem in abuse and neglect cases as well as individuals participating in assisted reproductive technology contracts.
